Gianpaolo Pagni’s "Lithographie Equestre" playing card motif draws inspiration from images of monarchs—both real and imagined—most of whom are depicted in equestrian poses. On this occasion, the artist pays tribute to the noble steed with the "Cheval Joker" motif. The design incorporates classic playing card elements and a symmetrical, inverted layout, in which two horse heads blend harmoniously with geometric shapes and solid blocks of color created using stamp-printing techniques. ✔️
